Sorry for the lack updates since the first round. Truth be told I'm completely bogged down with homework and finals since the semester ends here in the next week.
Not only that, but the original Aitu tribe was just completely boring. Unless we had a competition there was no communication going on there whatsoever. I for the most part thought I was all alone on this tribe. It was quite depressing, and you don't really get a good feel for where you stand.
We won the second and third immunity challenges. Well, the second challenge we took second place in, but the third we won outright. So due to that there really wasn't any extra talking, because we've yet to go to tribal council.
I decided to sit out the third immunity challenge, just to avoid any fighting or conflict with other people. I didn't want someone's feelings to get hurt, or someone to get pissed because they had to sit out, and then they may not try as hard the next time, because they don't feel part of the group. So, I took my turn and sat out.
I'm still annoyed I've yet to get to go to the secret island, when someone like Billy has been there twice now. I'm very curious to see what is out there, but I can't over think things, or stress about what might be there, because that will just hinder my game.
After the last round of tribal councils, we found out there would be a tribe switch. I unfortunately wound up on the puke green tribe of Puka. Ironic, puke and Puka, both green.
Becky and Sundra stayed on my tribe from the original Aitu tribe, and we were joined by Brad, Sekou, Nate, and Jenny. It is nice to have two former Aitu members on my tribe, because we are almost a majority, but they aren't really the two I'd have chosen. I do like Becky, but she is so busy with shit she is hardly ever around, and I feel as though her and I haven't talked in ages. Sundra on the other hand is an enigma to me. We've been on the same tribe since the beginning, and I honestly cannot remember having a conversation with her at all. Seriously girl, what the fuck?
On the other hand Sekou and Brad are both really cool people. I have enjoyed talking with them, and feel like I know them better than most of the original Aitu members in the game. Awesome people, and I'd love to see them do well in this game. Definitely two people, if we go to tribal council, I won't be writing down.
Nate is also a pretty cool dude. I haven't got to bond with him as much as I have Sekou and Brad, but nonetheless is still a pretty nice guy. I'm hoping he doesn't keep being a stranger, and we get to talk some more in the future, because I'd really like to get to know him better.
Sekou, although I like him, is kind of stand offish. He really doesn't seem interested in chatting about the game that much. I'm not sure if someone has told him not to discuss game with me, or he just feels he can't trust me enough to do so yet. I tried to get some information out of him about his old tribe, but he was very stingy with how things went of there. Who knows, time will tell on that one.
Brad on the other hand was like an open book. He told me he never really felt safe on the old Raro tribe, especially after his closest ally and final two, Rebecca was voted out. I can relate to that fact, I mean my closest ally is still in the game, but I felt like an outsider on the old Aitu, just from how antisocial that tribe was.
He asked me about my relationships with Sundra and Becky, and I was completely upfront and honest with him about them. I told him Becky and I were pretty close, but Sundra and I didn't really talk. He told me that him and Sekou had a mendable relationship. Good information to know.
Brad extended what I guess could be an alliance offer to me later that evening. He didn't really have an alliance proposal, but just told me he wouldn't be voting for me while we were on these tribes, and that he thought we could work well and compliment each other very well, and then told me he'd like to get an alliance or something going. I reciprocated the feelings about not voting for him, because I honestly can't see myself voting for him at this current point and time, and also let him know that I am open to the possibility of an alliance. We'll see what comes out of that.
This ought to be an interesting tribe, especially if we have to go to tribal council. Will be curious to see where old tribal lines fall. I'm open to the idea of entertaining offers, and I could honestly see myself not sticking with the original Aitu members on this tribe. I'd be a little bit more sad to vote Becky out of the game at this point, but Sundra could leave tonight and I wouldn't lose any sleep.
Let's just hope this Puka tribe can go on an immunity challenge tear, because I'm honestly not ready to face all the drama, plotting, and scheming that goes along with tribal council.
