So, I'm super excited to be playing this game. I've heard a lot of good things about this series, and I love playing a game in a series, especially after the first two seasons, because it really means the host is dedicated, and the series is usually a good one to play in. I was also super excited that I got to play as Yul, because I asbolutely love him, he's so sexy, and he was definitely my first choice as a player.
Cao Boi decided not to show up this time around, I can't say I blame him, he sucked the last time around anyway. I'd hate to put him out of his misery twice. But, it changed the way we started up.
Instead of having four tribes to start, we started on three tribes of six. The nineteenth person was then sent to the Secret Island, where a chance for awesome rewards and prizes could await them. I was placed on Aitu, and I must say, I look dead sexy in red! Jenny was the one left tribeless at the start, and got to potentially reap whatever benefits the Secret Island brings. It was brought to our attention that she'd be joining whichever tribe lost the first immunity challenge, after they attended tribal council. I wanted to make sure she wasn't on my tribe, not because I don't like her, I'm sure she is a sweet girl, but if she happened to find something on the Secret Island, I want it nowhere near me or my tribe at this point in time.
I'm not really sure what to make of my tribe. Billy, Ozzy, and Parvati are all really chatty, and I do somewhat enjoy them. I'd say I enjoy Parvati and Ozzy the most. I am wary of Ozzy, because I know he has been in the last two seasons of this series, and was the first juror both times. So he is out to prove a point this time around, but for right now we are cool, and I hope to keep it that way.
Like I said, I like Billy, but I feel bad for the guy. He just tries way to hard to fit in, or at least that is how it comes off to me. I can't say I blame him, he probably feels insecure being the ugly one on the tribe full of sexy bitches. I don't do well with people trying so hard to fit in though, it just makes me question what they will do to get ahead in the game. I need people around me who are loyal, not people who I can potentially not read.
I do like Becky. It took me awhile to get to know her, but once we talked, she was a wonderful chick. I understand she works a lot, anyone who works in health care does, and that's just a part of life. I hope to get to know her better, because I can definitely see her being a very trustworthy ally in this game.
Sundra is an enigma to me. I have yet to actually carry on a conversation with her. I'm not sure if that is intentional on her part, and she is just avoiding me or what. Maybe she knows me from the past and doesn't trust me, or doesn't get along with me. I don't know, I can't really figure it out. It could all just be a matter of misscommunication too, maybe she is waiting for me to strike up a conversation with her, like I am waiting on her to do with me. At this point in time, if we were to attend tribal council, she'd definitely be the person I targeted for the vote.
We had our first immunity challenge a few days ago, and I actually found it pretty funny. I was the first person to finish the challenge out of the entire cast, and what struck me as funny were the people who kept fucking up, and had to restart. Come on people, it isn't that hard to do one thing every five minutes for like an hour and a half. I just didn't logically understand how so many people could screw it up, some people multiple times. Lame!
We had a scare during the challenge though. We thought the entire Aitu tribe had completely finished the challenge very early in the afternoon yesterday. Becky was our last person to finish, and we started celebrating a victory shortly after she had finished. Then, it was brought to our attention that Becky had fucked up the challenge at the beginning, and therefore didn't finish the challenge, and had to restart. Becky was nowhere to be found when this news was released to us, and I thought for sure it would have been our demise. Somehow though, she still managed to redo her portion of the challenge, and we still finished in first. Puka lost immunity, because they pretty much suck, and will be going to tribal to vote someone out of the game. Then Jenny will become the newest member of Puka to keep the tribes even at six, and from then on it is game on.
Ozzy was somehow selected as the person from our tribe to go to the Secret Island, due to the stipulation that one member from each tribe that won immunity would get to go. I'm not neccessarily pissed that Ozzy was the one who got to go, because I trust Ozzy, and I'm pretty sure he trusts me as well, but I was baffled. I surely thought that it'd be the person who did the best in the challenge from each tribe, or the one who finished first in this case. I'm really not sure how he was chosen to go, maybe it was by random draw. Who knows?
